About WZBT 91.1 FM

WZBT 91.1 FM is Gettysburg College’s 500-watt (350 ERP) non-commercial educational radio station, serving the college community, Gettysburg, Hanover, Littlestown, and, when the signal is strong, the outskirts of Chambersburg, York, Dillsburg, as well as Westminster and Emmitsburg, Maryland. Supervised by Gettysburg College administrators and faculty, and operated by the students of Gettysburg College, WZBT’s purposes are to offer an effective means of responsible communication for students, faculty, staff, and community members, to be a source of information within and beyond the confines of the college, and to provide entertainment for its audience.

WZBT offers diverse programming that informs or otherwise benefits its listenership. Musically, WZBT is an alternative rock radio station, though it prides itself on the eclecticism of its musical programming, featuring shows devoted to Jazz, Blues, Americana, and more. We pride ourselves on our original programming, new music focus and dedicated listenership, and strive to be the go to destination on your radio dial.
